Officials from the City of Calgary claim that officers from the Calgary Police Service saw the infractions, and 42 people have been charged under the city’s Tobacco, Smoking, and Vaping Reduction Act.
Selling vaping items to children and failing to confirm the age of clients who seemed to be under 25 were among the violations.
Up to $100,000 in fines might be assessed for subsequent offences.
